Questa è carina. Ti confesserò: quando ho letto il titolo del post nella mia reading list, mi è venuta subito in mente la stele di rosetta! Mah... associazioni mentali.

DeleteBè, il nome della sonda deriva proprio dalla stele, e infatti il lander Philae prende il nome da un'isoletta del Nilo dove furono trovati altri testi che, insieme alla stele di Rosetta, aiutarono a decifrare i geroglifici. Il significato di questi nomi stava nel fatto che gli astronomi speravano che questa missione aiutasse a decifrare le comete, e con esse a comprendere meglio il nostro Sistema Solare, così come la stele di Rosetta ha aiutato a decifrare la scrittura geroglifica e comprendere quindi meglio la cultura egizia.
