Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire [review]

by J.K. Rowling

This novel differs from the previous ones from the very first pages: the beginning is strange, in the first chapter we are not at Privet Drive but at Riddle House. Sure, it was Harry's dream, so we haven't stopped to see everything from his point of view, but certainly it was a very strange start, and immediately is was announced a much more dark tone in the novel 'cause Voldemort commits a homicide before our eyes. We meet new interesting characters, meet again some old ones, and we have the chance to know better some of them. For example once again I loved Hermione and her courage to uphold her own ideas, her determination to pursue a cause that she believes right (I'm talking, of course, about S.P.E.W.). But also we know more about Neville, something that makes us look at him in a different way.
I've read and re-read this novel in the past, and now I listened to the audiobook. It's always a very beautiful experience!
