The Avengers [review]

by Joss Whedon

The Avengers
Avengers: Age Of Ultron

There was an idea, called the Avengers Initiative. The idea was to bring together a group of remarkable people, see if they could become something more. See if they could work together when we needed them to, to fight the battles that we never could. Nick Fury

I watched this movie the day he came in italian cinemas and... wow!!! It was amazing, wonderful, exciting and funny! Especially funny! I mean, I got lots of laughs!!!

I knew Joss was a genius, and this movie confirmed it!

I also knew he was a sadist, and he didn't contradict his reputation, because (SPOILER ALERT!!! A VERY BIG SPOILER UNDER THE COVER!!)

Anyway, I confirm it: Joss is a genius, sometimes an evil one, but always genius!!!

Quotes

Pepper: Is this about the Avengers?... Which I-I know nothing about.
Tony: The Avengers Initiative was scrapped, I thought. And I didn't even qualify.
Pepper: I didn't know that either.
Tony: Apparently I'm volatile, self-obsessed, and don't play well with others.
Pepper: That I did know.

I gotta say, it's an honor to meet you, officially. I sort of met you, I mean, I watched you while you were sleeping. I mean, I was... I was present while you were unconscious from the ice.
Phil Coulson to Steve Rogers

Tony Stark: I've read all about your accident. That much gamma exposure should have killed you.
Bruce Banner: So you're saying that the Hulk... the Other Guy.. saved my life? That's nice. It's a nice sentiment. Saved for... what?
Tony Stark: I guess we'll find out.
Bruce Banner: You may not enjoy that.
Tony Stark: You just might.

— I have an army.
— We have a Hulk.
Loki and Tony Stark

— Stark, are you seeing this? — I'm seeing. Still working on believing.
Capitan America and Iron Man the first time they see a leviathan
